The independent lab study

Technicians at Professional Testing Laboratory (Dalton, GA) compared five leading upright vacuums against the BEAM Serenity across short- and long-term soil removal and dust emissions, using X-ray fluorescence analysis developed with NASA and a state-of-the-art emissions chamber.

The result: the two top uprights lost 10-14% of their soil-removal ability from the start of the test to the end. The BEAM system's performance didn't drop. On emissions, the BEAM Serenity released fewer respirable particulates than any upright tested, under 6.6 micrograms per cubic meter throughout, while three uprights' emissions climbed as high as 4,300.

The UC Davis clinical study

In a clinical study at the University of California, Davis, allergic rhinitis patients who cleaned with a BEAM Central Vacuum System instead of portable vacuums recorded a 44-61% improvement in sleep, nasal, non-nasal, eye, and emotional symptoms, and reported being more active.
